Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at PSA Ventures. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting our analytics and reporting initiatives by optimizing data workflows on AWS cloud platforms and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with cloud-native tools and services, and a passion for building scalable, efficient data architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Manage ETL/ELT workflows.
• Leverage AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize data workflows on Snowflake and AWS platforms.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in designing and developing data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience managing ETL/ELT workflows with tools such as Airflow, dbt, and AWS services.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with cloud-native security and governance protocols.
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as EKS is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills.
