Qualifications
Experience Level: Mid Level
- To be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software, as well as proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)
- The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents
- Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift and move heavy material and perform physical tasks related to handling server trays and server racks
- Use power equipment to assist the team with safely moving very heavy server racks into position in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines
- Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinely

GXO Logistics, Inc., a premier provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions, is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate for our Leesburg, VA facility on the 1st shift. This critical role ensures efficient data center operations by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and recording inventory (racks & trays, networking equipment, hardware), maintaining accurate records, performing stock counts, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, preparing shipments, uploading and inspecting incoming shipments, transporting inventory safely using material handling equipment like pallet jacks, maintaining a clean work environment, assisting with material disposal, adhering to all safety protocols and data center security measures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting special projects. The role also involves assisting with server rack setup and installation, basic tool handling, and cable management under supervision.
