About The Role

As a Custom Software Engineer at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in developing custom software solutions. This involves designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions specifically tailored to meet diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investigate and triage internally reported issues across the platform’s product portfolio, delivering confirmed reproduction status and log analysis with supporting evidence.
2. Provide categorized analysis of validated issues, including classification (UI, functional, backend, performance, etc.) and distinction between bugs, feature requests, and product feedback.
3. Transform raw issue reports into engineering-ready specifications with enhanced clarity, completeness, and actionable detail.
4. Identify and report systemic or recurring issue patterns with analytical insights.
5. Deliver regular reporting on triage outcomes, trends, root cause analysis, and recommendations for process optimization.
6. Ensure data privacy and security compliance for all user content, in accordance with platform standards.
7. Meet and exceed SLAs and KPIs as defined by the program.

Key Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field is required.
2. This role involves working in Night Shifts, typically from 10 PM to 7 AM.
3. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in debugging, troubleshooting, or technical workflows is necessary.
4. Proficiency in querying structured data (e.g., SQL), using log analysis tools, and creating dashboards is essential.
5. Familiarity with client-server architectures, APIs, and backend systems is expected.
6. Experience with JSON parsing, regex, and light scripting (e.g., Python) is beneficial.
7. Ability to interpret and validate API functionality and request/response payloads is required.
8. Exposure to metrics and dashboard tools to support data-informed triage is advantageous.
9. Understanding of priority/severity frameworks and classification schemas is needed.
10. Prior exposure to triaging infrastructure or algorithmic issues (ranking, backend performance) is a plus.
11. Understanding of A/B testing mechanisms and their impact on product reliability is beneficial.
12. Familiarity with GenAI concepts (prompt engineering, LLM behavior, model evaluation) and popular GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) is a plus.
13. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
