CSOC Analyst

Fastly is seeking a CSOC Analyst to join their Customer Security Operations Centre in Pune, India. This role involves monitoring traffic, detecting anomalies, and deploying real-time mitigations against threats like DDoS, bot, and web application attacks. You will act as a strategic partner to Managed Security Service (MSS) clients, providing expert visibility and rapid response.

Responsibilities:

• Lead incident response and mitigation.
• Serve as a security consultant for MSS customers, tuning security policies.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting using log analysis.
• Create After Action Reports and security summaries.
• Communicate during security incidents.

Qualifications:

• Web Security knowledge (OWASP Top 10, attack vectors).
• Deep understanding of HTTP/S, TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS.
• Analytical skills for digital forensics and incident response.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Bonus Points:

• Proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Industry certifications like CySA+, GCIH, or Security+.

This position requires working from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST in Pune, India and may require travel.
