EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, is seeking a Consultant for their Indirect Tax team in Ahmedabad. This role involves working with the Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) industry market, which includes sectors like Aerospace & Defence, Chemicals, Infrastructure, and Automotive. The Consultant will provide tax advisory services, focusing on indirect taxes like GST and Customs, to help clients navigate the complexities of tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply knowledge of central and state incentives.
- Advise clients on incentives based on their projects and capital expenditure.
- Collaborate on various client projects.
- Draft advisory reports and calculate incentives.
- Stay updated on GST, Customs, and FTP regulations.
Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in tax and regulatory support.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA or PGDM from a reputable institute.
- Prior experience in GST, Customs, and erstwhile indirect taxes is desirable.
