Construction Rigging Engineer (Haryana-New Delhi, IN)
Bechtel India seeks a Construction Rigging Engineer in Gurgaon, supporting global projects across Energy, Infrastructure, Mining & Metals, and Manufacturing & Technology sectors. This role involves providing rigging engineering support, optimizing processes, and minimizing risks associated with rigging operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to construction engineers, coordinators, and superintendents.
- Conduct rigging/heavy haul assessments and provide constructability inputs.
- Review design drawings and models for lifting provisions.
- Support constructability, equipment requirements, and scheduling.
- Prepare and approve lift plans.
- Prepare rigging plans and technical specifications.
- Review and approve subcontractor plans.
- May supervise lifting operations.
- Develop and conduct rigging training.
Requirements:
A degree in engineering or scientific discipline, OR demonstrated experience as a rigging engineer.
Experience Levels:
- Level 1: 8-10 years of EPC experience with 5+ years in construction rigging.
- Level 2: 10-15 years of EPC experience with 8+ years in construction rigging.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of rigging standards.
- Familiarity with industry codes.
- Knowledge of lifting equipment and systems.
- Ability to develop rigging plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Effective collaboration.
