- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Associate's degree in Construction Management also considered
- Minimum of 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in industrial or large‑scale project environments
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

Kiewit, a leader in industrial construction, is seeking a Field Engineer for our Santa Teresa, NM location. This role is crucial for the successful execution of complex industrial projects. You will be responsible for interpreting intricate project drawings and specifications, developing comprehensive work plans and packages, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. Your duties will also include performing quantity takeoffs, managing change orders, providing on-site support, and overseeing subcontractor operations. Additionally, you'll contribute to the estimating process by reviewing project data and plans.

- Interpreting construction drawings and specifications for field crews.
- Preparing detailed work plans and packages for efficient project execution.
- Ordering and scheduling material deliveries to maintain project timelines.
- Performing quantity takeoffs from project drawings.
