Full Job Description
Brunswick Corporation, a prominent global marine leader, seeks a detail-oriented CAD Drafter I for its Tellico plant in Vonore, Tennessee. This role is integral to supporting product integrations and production efficiency by managing and creating critical CNC plot files. Responsibilities include maintaining existing CNC plot files for wood routers, glass cutters, and fabric cutters, updating these files for design for manufacturing (DFM), quality, and efficiency improvements, and generating new plot files from DXF files and print documentation for product integrations. The CAD Drafter I will also support accessory order requests, re-cut plot files for production, and meticulously maintain an Excel file detailing Bill of Materials for sheet and rolled goods. Ensuring accurate and concise documentation that adheres to engineering and business standards is paramount. This position involves assisting with ECN (Engineering Change Notice) implementations and tracking their documentation status, demonstrating a willingness to undertake tasks beyond the defined job description to meet department goals, and effectively managing daily and weekly time to prioritize based on business needs. This is a full-time, onsite position.
