Included Health, a forward-thinking healthcare company, is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team. The BDR will play a crucial role in generating high-quality leads and cultivating initial relationships with prospective clients, serving as the primary point of contact. This role involves close collaboration with marketing and sales departments to drive significant revenue growth for our integrated virtual care and navigation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Inbound Lead Qualification: Promptly follow up on inbound inquiries and high-value leads generated from marketing campaigns to secure initial discovery meetings with prospects.
- Outbound Lead Generation: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns using marketing sequences, including email, phone calls, and social media (LinkedIn messages, video messages), to effectively engage prospects.
- Prospecting: Independently identify and research target accounts and key contacts using a variety of tools such as CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and company websites. Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Corporate Sales Representatives (CSRs) as part of a comprehensive Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy.
- Lead Qualification: Apply established qualification frameworks, like BANT, to evaluate lead quality and determine readiness for sales engagement.
- Schedule & Hand-off: Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Sales RVPs. Provide detailed and accurate hand-off notes to RVPs, encompassing prospect background information, identified pain points, and agreed-upon next steps.
- CRM Management: Ensure all prospecting activities, communications, and lead statuses are accurately and consistently maintained within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sales, or business administration.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams on multi-step campaigns.
- Proficiency with and consistent use of CRM and sales prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, HubSpot).
- Proven ability to establish communication and engagement with prospects via email and telephone.
- Experience in effectively handling objections and rejection while maintaining and scaling outreach efforts.
- Strong collaboration skills, a clear team-player mentality, and a driven desire to achieve results.
- Demonstrated success working in partnership with a Sales organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- An innovative mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Comfort and adaptability in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
