Full Job Description

Join Connecteam, a rapidly expanding tech company, as a Business Development Representative focused on Strategic Accounts. This role is integral to developing our go-to-market strategy and driving outreach to key accounts. You will play a crucial part in shaping our sales approach, identifying target organizations, and building a robust pipeline of opportunities. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you'll gain deep insights into customer workflows and pain points by engaging with prospects and partners. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently achieve and exceed meeting targets, generate initial traction within target brands, and contribute to the overall momentum of your sales pod.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the go-to-market strategy and sales pipeline through thorough research, targeting, and prospect list generation.
  • Spearhead outbound sales efforts for strategic accounts, utilizing calls, email, and LinkedIn to engage with key decision-makers and operators.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of target brands' organizational structures, workflows, and challenges by working closely with Account Executives and gathering insights from customer and prospect conversations, as well as ecosystem partners.
  • Achieve and surpass meeting quotas, establish early engagement within target companies, and drive momentum for your sales pod each sprint.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in outbound BDR, sales, or business development within a SaaS company is preferred.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Possesses confident and clear communication skills, comfortable engaging with owners, operators, and decision-makers.
