Role Overview
The Business Analyst (BA) bridges business needs with technical solutions, partnering with stakeholders to understand processes, gather requirements, analyze data, and drive improvements through technology, process optimization, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into requirements.
- Create requirement documentation.
- Process Mapping & Optimization
- Analyze current business processes.
- Develop future-state process models.
- Facilitate workshops.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze data to identify trends.
- Create dashboards and reports.
- Perform data validation.
- Solution Delivery Support
- Act as a liaison.
- Support solution design and planning.
- Conduct UAT planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Communicate status, risks, and issues.
- Conduct workshops and demos.
- Ensure alignment.
- Documentation & Governance
- Maintain project documentation.
- Support change management.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Requirement gathering and documentation expertise.
- Ability to create process flows (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CRM/ERP platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle).
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or technical architecture.
- Professional certification (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, Scrum Master).
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience (modifiable based on seniority).
- Experience in cross-functional or digital transformation projects preferred.
