Business Analyst Fintech

Key Responsibilities1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Understand business objectives and processes
• Gather and document requirements from:
• Management
• Operations
• Sales
• Finance
• Customer Support
• Prepare BRD, FRD, PRD, and workflow diagrams

2. Product & Feature Planning

• Design and document flows for:
• Utility Bill Payments (BBPS)
• Mobile / DTH Recharge
• Wallet & Reward System
• Spin Wheel & Gamification
• DMT / AEPS
• Admin Panel Workflows
• Prepare feature documentation & user journeys

3. Technical Coordination

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams
• Convert business requirements into clear functional & technical specifications
• Support developers & QA teams throughout the project lifecycle

4. UAT & Quality Assurance

• Prepare test cases and UAT scenarios
• Validate system flows, financial accuracy & edge cases
• Ensure quality delivery of features

5. Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Analyze:
• User behavior
• Transaction patterns
• Funnel & conversion data
• Suggest growth, retention, and revenue optimization strategies

6. Process Improvement

• Identify operational gaps
• Suggest automation & workflow optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business / IT / Engineering / Management
• 2+ years of experience as Business Analyst in Fintech / Banking / Payments / SaaS
• Strong understanding of:
• BBPS
• DMT / AEPS
• Recharge systems
• Wallet architecture
• API-based systems
• Excellent analytical, documentation & communication skills

Tools Knowledge (Preferred)

• MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Jira / Trello / ClickUp
• Figma / Balsamiq (basic wireframing)
• Draw.io / Lucidchart

Good to Have

• Experience in fintech startups
• API documentation experience
• Product management exposure
