Qualifications
Experience Level: Mid Level
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in battery certification, regulatory compliance, or product safety engineering for EV or ESS products
- Hands-on experience with battery-related standards and certifications (e.g., UL 2580, UL 9540, UN 38.3, NFPA 68, NFPA 69, NFPA 855, etc.)
- Experience working with third-party testing labs and certification agencies
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support testing, audits, and certification activities
