Full Job Description
BitGo is seeking a Backend Engineer - E2 to join the DevEx team in Bengaluru, India. This role focuses on empowering developers globally by creating and maintaining essential resources like SDKs, developer portals, and APIs. The engineer will contribute to BitGo's business expansion, directly impacting every engineer and client, driving innovation and enhancing the developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate production-grade internal systems.
- Design and evolve monitoring, alerting, and metrics systems.
- Design and deliver CI gates, linters, and automation.
- Independently drive projects from problem definition to implementation.
- Partner cross-functionally with various teams.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern, statically typed language.
- Experience designing and building backend systems or developer tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
- Solid system design fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in developer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on API developer portals and documentation tooling.
- Familiarity with tools for generating and maintaining OpenAPI specifications.
- Strong data analysis skills.
