Azure DevOps Consultant (Bengaluru, India)

Enkaytech is seeking a talented and experienced Azure DevOps Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust DevOps pipelines, driving continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) in high-volume, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Automate build testing, utilize pipeline templates, and manage Git Repositories effectively.
• Configure and manage web application hosting in IIS environments.
• Work within an Agile framework to streamline development processes and enhance developer productivity.
• Manage source control systems, including branching, merging, and integration strategies using Git, Azure DevOps Repos, GitHub, and familiarity with Jira.
• Perform end-to-end automation across Microsoft systems utilizing tools such as Azure Automation, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of software releases, including version control, feature branching, code merges, and deployments.
• Define and continuously improve release processes and methodologies, ensuring best practices.
• Communicate release plans, progress, and status effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor release success, gather feedback, and drive process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar DevOps role, with a strong track record of successful software releases.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• AZ-400 Certification (Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions) is mandatory.
• Excellent project management skills, including prioritization, deadline management, and adaptability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, especially with geographically dispersed teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Experience with release management tools and platforms like Kibana.
