Associate Systems Engineer

Software AG is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to act as a vital technical business partner to our sales team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality technical support and ensuring Software AG's innovative solutions are perfectly aligned with customer needs throughout the entire sales cycle. You will contribute directly to facilitating our business and revenue goals by offering technical insights and guidance to support prospect and customer qualification and business strategies. Collaborating closely with sales representatives, you will help develop specific account plans and strategies. Your analytical skills will be key in understanding customer/prospect requirements to recommend the most suitable Software AG solutions. You will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling demonstrations, presentations, prototypes, and Proof of Concept/Value (POC/POV) exercises. Furthermore, you will provide essential technical support to qualified prospects during evaluations, including training, example programming, third-party software integration, troubleshooting, and best-practices consulting. Your role will also involve responding to the technical sections of RFI/RFPs, gathering and relaying valuable product feedback from customers, and sharing competitive intelligence from the field. We encourage knowledge sharing and exchanging best practices within the Systems Engineer community. Continuous learning is vital; you will stay updated on Software AG solutions, particularly within your assigned business line, and maintain relevant technical expertise. Participation in meetings, conferences, and cross-departmental discussions with customers, partners, sales, and R&D teams is also expected.
