Position Summary:

Alacriti is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual and Automation Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing concepts and automation using Selenium & Playwright. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of U.S. payment systems including ACH, Wire Transfers, and Money Transfers, along with API testing experience. The candidate will be responsible for validating high-quality fintech/payment applications, ensuring functional accuracy, regulatory compliance, performance reliability, and seamless money movement processing.

We are hiring for the below positions

Associate QA Engineer - 0 to 1 year [knowledge on QA Testing Process end to end, API testing (Postman tool), ACH (How bank transfers and payments work in USA), Wire Transfers, Cross Boarder Money Transfers will increase chances of hiring]

QA Engineer - 1 to 2 years [knowledge on QA Testing Process end to end, API testing (Postman tool), ACH (How bank transfers and payments work in USA) , Wire Transfers, Cross Boarder Money Transfers will increase chances of hiring]

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and payment workflows.
• Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium & Playwright.
• Validate ACH, Wire Transfers, and Money Transfer workflows.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Validate payment processing lifecycle including:
  
  • Transaction initiation
  • Authorization
  • Clearing & settlement
  • Reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with U.S. payment standards and banking regulations.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives).
• Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Technical skills Required

• Manual Testing & Test Case Design
• Selenium WebDriver
• Java / JavaScript (Basic to Intermediate)
• API Testing (REST/SOAP)
• Postman / Similar API tools
• SQL (basic queries preferred)
• Defect Tracking Tools (JIRA or equivalent)
• CI/CD knowledge (preferred)
• Understanding of:
  
  • ACH Processing & NACHA file formats
  • Wire transfer message flows
  • Payment gateway integrations
  • Transaction lifecycle & settlement process
  • U.S. banking and financial systems basics

Qualification & desired candidate profile

• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts (STLC, SDLC, Test Design Techniques).
• Strong in Manual Testing concepts
• Hands-on experience in Selenium automation.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience in financial/payment domain testing.
• Understanding of U.S. payment systems such as:
  
  • ACH (Automated Clearing House)
  • Wire Transfers (Fedwire/SWIFT basics preferred)
  • Domestic & Cross-border Money Transfers
• Understanding of how payments and settlement systems work in the USA.
• Knowledge of API validation and integration testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
