Job Title: Assistant Manager - Strategy (CEO's Office)
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Reporting To: CEO
Job Purpose: Serve as a strategic thought partner to the founder of Onsitego & Qdigi, enabling high-stakes decision making through rigorous research, data analytics, and structured problem-solving. The role translates complex data and ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insights for the CEO, while also owning and driving select, high-impact strategic initiatives across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Decision Support
• Analyze large, complex datasets to surface insights that directly inform strategic and operational decisions at the leadership level
• Build hypothesis-driven analyses to evaluate trade-offs, quantify risks, and identify growth opportunities
• Define, track, and interpret key business KPI's across Operations, Marketing, Finance and HR, highlighting implications and recommended actions for leadership
Structured Problem Solving & Research
• Frame ambiguous, high-impact business questions into structured problem statements and analytical approaches
• Conduct primary and secondary research to develop market intelligence, competitive insights, and industry perspectives that guide strategic choices
• Assess existing and potential new business lines using data-backed evaluation models, scenario analysis, and financial frameworks to support investment and prioritization decisions Executive
Communication & Storytelling
• Synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise, executive-ready insights tailored for the CEO and senior leadership
• Develop high-quality presentations and narratives that clearly articulate context, insights, options, and recommendations
• Ensure all outputs are logically structured, visually compelling, and focused on enabling fast, confident decision-making Strategy
Execution & Program Management
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with clearly defined objectives, milestones, owners, and success metrics
• Build business cases and execution plans to support strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs
• Program-manage high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, proactively tracking progress, identifying risks or slippages, and driving course correction
• Provide crisp, data-backed updates to the CEO and leadership team, ensuring visibility, alignment, and momentum on priority initiatives
Desired candidate profile:
Must Have Skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high comfort in working with numbers
• Ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights and work with imperfect data to make reasoned recommendations
• Excellent structured thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• High ownership mindset: comfortable driving work without formal authority; Bias towards action and closure and not just analysis
• Strong data presentation and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Good to Have • Experience working with metrics such as NPS, customer funnels, pricing, cohorts, or operational KPIs
• Exposure to data science, business analytics, or strategy analytics roles
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) Background Preference
• 25 years of experience in driving strategic projects, business analytics, consulting, business or CEOs Office roles
• CA or Tier 1 / Tier 2 MBA with strong analytical pre-MBA background (engineering, data, analytics)
Experience: 2-5 years
Qualification: BTech / Bachelor degree in Data Science / MBA /CA
