This role is for an Analyst within the Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) and Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) Tax team in Kolkata.

The AMI Industry Market focuses on industries like Aerospace and Defence, Chemicals, Infrastructure, Industrial Products, Automotive, and Transportation, including Mobility-as-a-Service. The GCR team provides services across all tax disciplines to help clients thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

EY offers competencies in Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax and Transaction Services. This role involves responsibilities in Technical Excellence and Operational Excellence/Day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality tax products using general tax knowledge.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with methodologies and professional standards.
• Acquire and demonstrate technical competence and apply it to moderately complex situations.
• Thoroughly check documents for tax inspections.

Skills and Attributes

To qualify, a graduate and/or postgraduate degree is required, and ideally one group cleared of IPCC. Prior professional experience is preferable but not mandatory. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively and provide insightful and practical solutions. Agility, curiosity, mindfulness, adaptability, and creativity are also desired qualities.
