Analyst IT Security

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Protegrity specialist to join our InfoSec team and contribute to our strategic security and compliance objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the Protegrity infrastructure, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise. You will also collaborate with application teams to implement tokenization solutions for their applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve or reject requests for Protegrity access.
• Provision Protegrity access requests and grant appropriate permissions.
• Participate in meetings with third-party vendors to detail Anthem’s Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) requirements for vendors storing Anthem data in their cloud environments.
• Create and rotate cloud encryption keys for various cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, IBM, Oracle, Google, and Salesforce.
• Monitor the Protegrity infrastructure and provide assistance with problem resolution.
• Coordinate patching schedules and support patching implementations.
• Build and maintain encryption infrastructure.
• Create, revise, and update documentation related to security processes and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with application teams to implement tokenization for cloud-based applications, which includes explaining the process, building JSON files, granting application access, and troubleshooting issues.
• Provide on-call support for encryption solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Application Security Analyst.
• Knowledge of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to hardware, software, data, network communications, and people.
• Basic understanding of encryption technologies and their application in cloud environments, with a strong willingness to learn key management systems.
• Familiarity with tokenization concepts or a strong desire to develop expertise in data tokenization techniques.
• Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of the differences between Data-At-Rest and Data-In-Motion, with the ability to implement basic security measures for each.

Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years (3-5) as an Application Security Analyst.
• Experience reviewing Protegrity access requests and provisioning access.
• Experience working with third-party vendors on Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) requirements for cloud data storage.
• Experience creating and rotating cloud encryption keys for AWS, Azure, IBM, Oracle, Google, and Salesforce.
• Experience monitoring Protegrity infrastructure and assisting with problem resolution.
• Experience coordinating patching schedules and implementations.
• Proficiency with tokenization, data protection/security, and field-level protection.
• While Protegrity experience is preferred, experience with alternatives like Skyflow, Capital One Tokenization Services, OpenText Data Privacy & Protection Foundation (Voltage), Fortanix, Privitar, Secupi, CipherTrust Vaultless Tokenization, Baffle, Cossack Labs Acra is also considered.
• Experience building and maintaining encryption infrastructure.
• Experience in creating, revising, and updating technical documentation.
• Experience working with application teams on tokenization implementation, including process explanation, JSON file creation, access granting, and troubleshooting.
• On-call support experience for encryption solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering technical projects with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
