AI Engineer
Full Job Description
We're seeking an AI Engineer to join our team early and lead real projects. This is a remote, contract-based role with the potential to become permanent based on performance and fit. As an AI Engineer, you will build and deploy AI agents processing both structured and unstructured data, design multi-agent workflows for automated analysis, and build RAG pipelines and knowledge graphs for explainable AI outputs. Responsibilities include context engineering for improved accuracy, integrating open-source tools, and enabling natural language interfaces.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years in AI/ML application development with Python
- Experience with multi-agent or LLM-powered workflows (Langflow, LangChain, etc.)
- Understanding of context engineering and retrieval strategies
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, and document processing
- Proficiency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and REST APIs
- Database integration (PostgreSQL preferred)
Nice to haves:
- Experience with geospatial data/tools (PostGIS, GeoJSON, QGIS)
- Knowledge graph construction and querying
- Web scraping/crawling at scale
- Cloud deployment (AWS)
