San Bernardino County is actively seeking skilled Administrative Supervisors I to lead medium to large teams responsible for comprehensive administrative support and procedural innovation. This critical role involves meticulous budget preparation and oversight, management of contract and grant applications, and the execution of data-driven special studies. The ideal candidate will contribute to departmental efficiency through insightful analysis and recommendations.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and guiding medium to large staff in delivering general administrative support and developing procedural recommendations and program analyses.
- Conducting in-depth special studies and research utilizing data analysis and interpretation to provide strong justification for budgetary recommendations.
- Preparing and monitoring departmental budgets and/or financial operations, as well as overseeing contract/grant applications by researching availability and requirements.
- Potentially managing projects related to new construction, remodels, future facility planning, ongoing operations, lease reviews, and the development of advanced data analytic projects.
