- Monitors open purchase orders and partners with Museum staff to identify those that need to be closed
- Approves purchase requisitions within spending authorization
- Prepares new vendor credit applications and manages the new vendor add process
- Prepares month-end journal entries
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations as requested
- Assists with year-end ledger accounting and reporting for audit
- Assists with and serves as backup for preparing the Daily Sales Report, recording revenues by category, reporting activity to management and reconciling monthly Daily Sales Report to the subsystem
- Serves as a backup, when requested, for producing all cash disbursement checks and electronic vendor payments
