Key responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, expertly rolling freight, accurately scanning product for inventory tracking, and conducting thorough inspections of furniture, particularly noting carton condition. The ideal candidate will be adept at moving furniture using hand trucks, carts, or dollies, and possess the ability to push, pull, and lift heavy objects. This position also involves staging and preparing product in delivery bays, applying protective measures like blanket wrapping and foam packaging for transport and storage, and maintaining a clean and organized distribution center by operating equipment such as balers and compactors.
