2026 Summer Engineer Intern

Granite Construction, a leading heavy civil contractor and construction materials producer, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual for a paid 2026 Summer Engineer Intern position in Everett, WA. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to support project managers, maintain critical project data, and assist with essential document control processes within a dynamic construction environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience in managing project data, providing functional advice on document control systems, and performing quality checks on project documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining master project files, managing the distribution of engineering and procurement documents, and assisting with project file turnover. Ideal candidates are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, possess strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with Primavera Contract Manager or similar software, and experience with web-based document control systems are highly desirable. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong professional judgment and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
