🚀 DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Azure Primary | Multi-Cloud Exposure)

About the Job

Exaqode, a software consultancy and development company with over 40 years of combined expertise, is seeking a hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineer. This role is a dedicated engagement supporting a global technology client and requires strong Azure expertise.

Role Responsibilities

• Microsoft Azure Infrastructure (Primary)
  • Design and manage Azure networking components (VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
  • Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Manage Azure Container Registry (ACR).
  • Configure and maintain Azure Key Vault (secrets & certificates).
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID integrations (App Registrations, Service Principals, Managed Identities).
  • Support secure single-tenant and multi-tenant architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules.
  • Maintain environment separation (Dev/Stage/Prod).
  • Implement GitHub-as-Code model where applicable.
  • Ensure version-controlled, auditable deployments.
• CI/CD & Automation
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Support Docker-based deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure secure pipeline and artifact management.
• Containerization & Kubernetes
  • Containerize applications using Docker.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads (AKS primary).
  • Optimize cluster performance, scaling, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot container orchestration issues.
• Monitoring & Observability
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
  • Work with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
  • Improve uptime, performance, and operational visibility.
• AWS (Secondary Exposure)
  • EKS deployment via Terraform
  • VPC, Subnets, Security Groups
  • S3 (including Terraform backend)
  • AWS Secrets Manager
  • Lambda deployments
  • OpenSearch / MongoDB environments

  Knowledge of GCP is a plus.

• Security & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to security policies, audit controls, and data protection requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to implement secure cloud practices.
  • Maintain clear and updated infrastructure documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–4 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud experience.
• Strong Azure expertise (AKS, Networking, Key Vault).
• Advanced Terraform (IaC) experience.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes.
• Multi-cloud exposure (AWS preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work overlapping US & UK time zones.
• Immediate availability preferred.
