Web Developer

Our client, through Talimer, is seeking a contract Web Developer to design and build a complex, high-performance web platform for an AI-driven content application. This is not a simple project; we need someone with experience in architectural design and delivery of enterprise-level websites. The developer will lead the initial build, provide regular progress updates, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine and finalize deliverables.

Start Date: ASAP (first iteration expected by end of October; refinements by end of December)

Duration: Contract role, project-based through December

Location: Remote; CT time zone preferred. Must be available for check-ins (EOD preferred). Open to asynchronous work as long as deadlines are met.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, as a W2 employee of Talimer

This is a brand-new build for an AI content platform. We are looking for a developer who thinks strategically, writes high-quality code, and communicates progress effectively. The ideal candidate will be disciplined, detail-oriented, and balance independence with feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build of a complex website for an AI-driven content application
• Deliver the first iteration by end of October, with refinements completed by end of December
• Provide progress reports 1–2 times per week (preferred at end of day)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and integrate feedback
• Implement designs, graphics, and features on the newest platforms (WordPress acceptable, but recommendations welcome)
• Ensure usability, scalability, and technical excellence throughout the build.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in website development
• Expertise in front-end development; full-stack experience a plus
• Proficiency with modern web technologies, frameworks, and CMS platforms (WordPress or comparable)
• Experience integrating plugins and third-party tools
• Strong communication skills; able to provide consistent updates and manage expectations
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and open to feedback
• Flexible to work during/after business hours as needed to meet deadlines
