Team Lead, Backend (C#)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in achieving goals, contributing to design, architecture, development, quality, and deployment.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions, ensuring high-quality results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, representing your team as needed.
• Maintain and improve engineering practices, suggesting enhancements.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in systems, processes, and scalability.
• Lead by example in code quality, contributing to code reviews.
• Help monitor production systems, investigate issues, and resolve challenges with a customer-centric approach.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of C# .NET server-side development experience, including REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous communication (RabbitMQ and Kafka).
• 3+ years of SQL experience (MSSQL/Oracle/MySql/PostgreSQL, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience with observability systems (Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.).
• 3+ years of managerial experience leading customer-facing product development.
• Experience with messaging queues or streams such as RabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka.
• Broad knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with Microservices.
• Experience in engineering best practices (unit tests, code reviews, testing coverage, agile methodologies).
• Team player attitude.
• Experienced in managing and growing people.
• Ambitious and eager to learn.
• B.E/BS in computer science or equivalent.
• Practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Practical knowledge of non-relational databases (eg, MongoDB).
• Experience in mentoring new hires and interns.
