Sr. Software Engineer - Fullstack

OpenText seeks a Sr. Software Engineer - Fullstack in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves designing, developing, and debugging software, with a focus on full-stack development across various technologies. Responsibilities include writing clean code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with teams. Candidates should have experience with Java, Springframework, and deploying applications in a large-scale environment. Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Python, JavaScript, Web Service(SOAP/REST) APIs, Springframework, Hibernate is required. Experience with RDBMS Databases such as Oracle, MSSQL Server and PostgreSQL with good SQL knowledge.

The candidate will be involved in the software development process from design to release in an Agile Development Framework. Additional responsibilities include providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Core Java and J2EE technologies, Operating Systems(Mac OS, Linux / Windows), Web browsers, networking communication protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP etc.), Python, JavaScript, UI development using CSS, AngularJS, Snecha Ext JS, Web Service(SOAP/REST) APIs, Springframework, Hibernate, Application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, Windows IIS), RDBMS Databases(Oracle, MSSQL Server and PostgreSQL), DevOps process and tools, Git, Maven and Jenkins.
