Sr. Principal Member of Technical Staff

As a Sr PMTS at Oracle, you will shape the future of Health and AI. You will define and develop software, influencing standard practices. Responsibilities include software development, architecture design, code reviews, and technical roadmap creation. You will analyze complex architectures, collaborate with stakeholders, and make critical technical decisions. This role involves deep technical expertise, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.
• Defining and developing software for tasks associated with the development, design, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
• Accountable for broad software design, code quality, and architecture decisions.
• Leading architecture discussions, design sessions, and code reviews.
• Developing a long-term technical roadmap.
• Coding for high-risk projects.
• Analyzing and understanding complex architectures and designs.
• Multitasking and managing changing priorities.
• Collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements include:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience with scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Expertise in Java service development.
• Strong understanding of System design concepts (HLD, LLD).
• Experience deploying services on Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated testing.
• Strong REST API design skills.
• Full-stack development experience building on public cloud providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.
• Experience with Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services, and/or related technology.
