Specialist DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with at least 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team at NiCE. This role focuses on automating, managing, and enhancing our infrastructure and CI/CD processes, with a strong emphasis on AWS and cloud environment management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using shell scripting and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement and maintain configuration management practices and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Document processes and configurations.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong experience managing complex AWS environments (ECS, EC2, VPCs, ALB, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS).
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Proficiency in shell scripting or powershell.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Go).
• Experience with Git.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Advantageous Skills:

• Development experience.
• Experience with observability tools (DataDog, Open Telemetry, or PagerDuty).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Buildkite).
• Experience working with technology partners like AWS.

NiCE-FLEX:

This role offers a hybrid work model, NiCE-FLEX, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
