Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer on the iPlayer TV Playback team at the BBC, you'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless playback experience for millions of viewers. You'll be involved in shaping the future of playback, impacting how audiences consume content. Key responsibilities include:

• Improving playback performance and reliability across various TV devices.
• Building APIs and interfaces.
• Working with Certification and Partner Engineering teams.

The role requires proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, strong debugging skills, and experience with automated testing.
