As a Mid-level Java & Cloud Developer at AgileEngine in India, you will design and maintain scalable Java applications and cloud-based solutions, ensuring robust integration, high performance, and reliability. Your responsibilities will include working with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Azure, and Kubernetes to optimize backend systems, support CI/CD, and collaborate within agile teams. This role offers hands-on experience in cloud environments, SQL, and enterprise-grade ESG and climate data applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java applications;
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards;
• Lead the architecture and framework selection for projects;
• Ensure proper integration of front-end components and back-end services;
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback;
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues;
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and support continuous integration.

Requirements:

• 4–7 years of experience in Java and Cloud Software Engineering;
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot;
• Strong expertise in SQL and REST APIs;
• Experience with Azure and Kubernetes;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves:

• Computer Engineering degree or equivalent.
