Software Engineer

Ecolab is seeking a Software Engineer in Bengaluru/Bangalore to enhance, maintain, and support Procure-to-Pay business application platforms.

The Software Engineer will apply engineering and programming best practices to deliver and improve software solutions, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. This role involves direct collaboration with digital technology peers and business associates.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical design, support, and development for Ecolab GBS business applications.
• Analyze and resolve support issues; optimize system performance; ensure platform security and availability.
• Provide operational support.
• Collaborate with technology peers and vendors.
• Participate in maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
• Resolve support issues within SLAs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS
• 3+ years of experience supporting global IT solutions (installation, upgrades, coding, etc.)
• Experience with system integrations, ETL solutions
• Experience with Windows/UNIX OS
• Experience with application and server monitoring tools (SCOM, Elastic, AppDynamics)
• Experience developing/managing SQL databases

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP business applications
• Familiarity with UC4/Automic Automation or similar
• Knowledge of security, databases, hardware, networks, cloud & virtualization
• Organizational and teamwork skills
• Technical problem-solving skills
• Solution-oriented mindset; adaptability
