Software Development Engineer - II (MERN Stack)

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer with strong technical and communication skills, specializing in full-stack web app development. The ideal candidate will excel at creating solid APIs and user-friendly interfaces. Attention to detail and well-documented code are essential. This role involves collaboration with designers, product managers, developers, and testers. Experience building scalable and resilient systems is required.

Responsibilities:

• Create new reporting features and improve existing functionalities.
• Build backend and Frontend API features and architecture.
• Work cross-functionally across our platform, experience, CRM, and other teams.
• Drive performance through benchmarking and optimization.
• Work with various systems and technologies to solve problems.
• Collaborate with leadership to build new features.
• Uphold high engineering standards.
• Architect and build backend and Frontend APIs and features.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Vue.js/React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, NodeJS, and GraphQL.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL or MongoDB; working knowledge of Redis and Firebase/Firestore is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely and collaboratively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability.
• Enjoyment of generalist roles in frontend and backend development.
• Ability to work with various services and processes.
• Empathy for team and users.
• Excellent communication skills.
