Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Lognormal Analytics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality through comprehensive test strategies. This involves creating and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, conducting manual and exploratory testing, and continuously refining QA processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to identify and address defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Senior engineers will also lead and mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall test strategy for delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans covering functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend services.
• Perform automated, manual, and exploratory testing.
• Conduct API and performance testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and k6.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve QA processes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Experience delivering high-quality software in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience developing test strategies and architecting automation frameworks.

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with Playwright, Cucumber.js, Selenium/WebDriver, Postman, Rest Assured, k6, Jira, and TestRail.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and cloud-based testing (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP.
• Solid understanding of testing principles and best practices.
