Senior Platform Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Bangalore, India, to build the infrastructure for our next-generation Voice AI platform. This role involves architecting and implementing systems for high scale, low latency, and reliability, forming the technical backbone for real-time AI conversations used by leading Indian enterprises.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end product development, from requirements to deployment.
• Design infrastructure for hundreds of thousands of concurrent AI conversations.
• Implement cutting-edge infrastructure solutions, staying current with the latest research and technology.
• Design highly scalable, distributed systems.
• Identify and eliminate system bottlenecks for low-latency performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend/platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
• Proficiency in AWS (preferred) or GCP with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, asyncio) and/or Go.

Systems and Performance:

• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Understanding of systems design, caching (Redis), and messaging queues (Kinesis, SQS).
• Expertise with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Knowledge of networking, service mesh, and cloud security best practices.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models.
• Familiarity with GPU orchestration (NVIDIA, CUDA) and real-time inference optimization.
• Knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with WebRTC, real-time audio processing, or streaming architecture optimisations.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
