Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Developer – AI-Focused Applications

About the Role

Auxiliobits is seeking a Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Developer to join their expanding engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong Node.js expertise and experience in building AI-powered SaaS and enterprise-grade applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the AI and automation space.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using the MEAN/MERN stack. This includes a strong focus on Node.js backend development, REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
• AI-Integrated Applications: Build, integrate, and optimize applications powered by LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI workflows. Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to implement APIs and model integrations.
• Architecture & Best Practices: Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability by enforcing software engineering best practices. Participate in architectural decisions and guide junior developers. Write clean, modular, and test-driven code.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and AI specialists to deliver high-impact solutions. Manage project timelines, provide technical input during requirement gathering, and deliver features on time.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in MEAN or MERN stack development.
• Expert-level knowledge in Node.js (Express.js/NestJS preferred).
• Strong skills in MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with React.js or Angular for building rich UIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for application deployment and scaling.
• Familiarity with AI/ML application development – integrating APIs like OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, or AWS AI services.
• Strong focus on best practices, testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, security, and authentication frameworks (OAuth, JWT).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail and quality.

Good to Have

• Experience building SaaS products.
• Knowledge of .NET C# for custom component development (integration with RPA/automation).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and AI integrations.
• Contributions to AI-driven platforms or agent-based architectures.
