Senior Engineer, IOT (VSaaS)

Job Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs. You'll contribute to world-class products, collaborating with various teams to design system-level software solutions and meet performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-related use-cases for edge devices, using computer vision, LLMs, and sensors.
• Collaborate with external teams for integration.
• Develop and maintain embedded software in Go and C for edge devices.
• Perform low-level debugging and optimization.
• Implement tools for validation and testing.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in computer science or engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in developing and testing applications/use-cases leveraging machine learning models including computer vision, large language models.
• Proficient in Go, Python, data structures, networking, and object-oriented concepts.
• Experience with LLM/RAG systems.
• Understanding of RAG systems and NLP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in software development for Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with source code repositories and software engineering processes.
