Senior Developer – Computational Geometry

Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 5-10 years

Required Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize algorithms for geometric computations, spatial analysis, and transformations.
• Implement data structures for geometric modeling and processing.
• Utilize C++, Python, or Java for algorithm development.
• Work with computational geometry libraries/frameworks such as CGAL, Shapely, JTS, Open Cascade, or VTK.
• Write clean, modular code, and integrate geometric solutions.
• Performance tune and reduce computational complexity in geometry-based algorithms.
• Build reusable geometry modules/libraries and maintain technical documentation.
• Solve problems in GIS, robotics, computer graphics, or spatial analytics.
• Use Git and standard software engineering practices. Strong communication skills are needed for cross-functional collaboration.
