Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Tribute Technology seeks a collaborative Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments. The engineer will play a crucial role in driving the cloud strategy and ensuring efficient operation of cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Skills: Extensive experience with AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Continuous Deployment (CD): Develop and maintain automated pipelines.
• Containers: Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability: Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions, such as New Relic, and utilize tools like CloudWatch.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate tasks using Terraform.
• Release Management: Support developers with release issues and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
• Security: Apply AWS security best practices.
• IT Operations: Strong troubleshooting skills, server resource management, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Automation: Expertise in scripting languages and automation technologies.

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management tools.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
• Proficiency in observability tools and APM solutions.
• Experience with IaC and automation tools (e.g., Terraform).
• IT operations skills, including troubleshooting, server management, and database management.
• System administration skills (Apache/Nginx, OS updates).
• Strong scripting skills (Python and Node.js).
• Ability to write clear documentation.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a curious and proactive approach, teamwork, and remote work adaptability. Ability to see projects through to completion.

Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing; Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates.
