Android Developer - Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product, Design, and back-end teams to own end-to-end features, including architecture design, data storage, API integrations, and user interface development.
Build a public transportation payment suite that includes tap-to-pay cards, tap-to-pay via Android phones, offline dynamic QR codes, and other digital payment options (UPI, Wallets, Common Mobility cards).
Utilize web sockets and advanced caching techniques for a fast and user-friendly UX.
Develop a multilingual and multimodal app that integrates buses, metro, cabs, cycles, and bikes.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, networking, memory management, and source control (Git).
Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack components, Android Studio, and Android NDK.
Experience with large codebases and architectures like MVI / MVVM.
Experience with RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, or Kotlin Flows is a plus.
