SaaS Software Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled full-stack or backend-focused developer to join our expanding SaaS team. The role involves designing, developing, and scaling cloud-based applications that are critical for thousands of daily users. A key aspect of this position is the integration of cutting-edge AI tools and APIs, including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, and LangChain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new and existing features for our primary SaaS platform.
• Construct scalable microservices and robust REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate AI-powered functionalities such as chatbots, content generation tools, advanced data analysis, and automated workflows.
• Optimize database performance and design efficient data schemas.
• Produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.
• Foster collaboration with product, design, and DevOps teams.
• Actively participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and/or PHP (Laravel 9+).
• A strong grasp of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases when applicable.
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with message queues (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML tools and APIs such as OpenAI GPT models, Claude, Cohere, vector databases (Pinecone/Weaviate), and libraries like LangChain.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Frontend development experience with frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Livewire.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee).
• Understanding of multi-tenant architecture principles.
• Previous experience in building or scaling a SaaS product to over 10,000 users.
• Active contributions to open-source projects or a well-maintained GitHub profile.
