Takeda Pharmaceutical is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join its Veeva Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is integral to the development and enhancement of Takeda's solutions, requiring a blend of technical expertise, testing acumen, and a collaborative spirit. You will work within an agile environment, integrating closely with testers, developers, engineers, analysts, scrum masters, delivery managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user stories and validate acceptance criteria to ensure clear understanding and testability.
• Proactively identify potential operational issues, assess risks, and collaborate on resolutions before software completion.
• Contribute to the creation and review of comprehensive test plans and detailed test reports.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end use cases and ensure alignment with all requirements.
• Develop robust test approaches, scenarios, cases, and automated test scripts for new and modified software.
• Execute various testing methodologies, including manual, automated, and exploratory testing.
• Conduct diverse sets of tests on software products to verify adherence to specifications and requirements, and meticulously evaluate the results.
• Document high-quality, detailed defect reports for any identified issues.
• Provide constructive feedback on usability and functionality to team members and stakeholders, and present clear test reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on test automation within agile projects.
• Proven experience in test design and establishing effective test approaches.
• Demonstrated experience in testing web services.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL.
• Good experience in cloud-based testing environments.
• A keen interest in emerging testing and test automation trends and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop effective solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• A team-oriented mindset with a capacity for innovative thinking.

This is a full-time, regular employee position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
