Principal Full Stack Engineer

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer at Oracle, you'll be a key player in shaping and refining engineering practices within the software engineering division. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and debugging software applications and operating systems. You'll architect scalable products, mentor your team, collaborate with colleagues to define requirements, and drive innovation by analyzing emerging technologies. You'll lead architectural discussions, design sessions, and code reviews to ensure quality and performance while promoting Oracle's engineering values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build architecture and frameworks for complex, scalable products.
• Mentor, guide, and lead the engineering team.
• Collaborate on requirement gathering and design.
• Investigate and drive analysis for innovations and technologies.
• Lead architecture discussions, design sessions, and code reviews.
• Promote engineering culture and values.

Requirements:

• Proficient Full Stack developer with Java/J2EE.
• Proficient in REST services and microservice architecture.
• Proficient in MySQL queries or any backend technologies.
• Experience with common open source tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GIT).
• Strong understanding of Software Design and Hands-on Development in React, Java.
• Deep understanding of Software architecture patterns, Design patterns, Data Structures, and scalable designs.
• Knowledge of DevOps.
• Application Security knowledge is beneficial.
• Cloud deployment experience is a plus.
• Experience in scaled agile environments.
• Proficient with JavaScript.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in Java and Micro services.
• 2+ years of DevOps experience.
• Experience with production services in public clouds is a plus.
• Passion for technology and end-to-end ownership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate problems and solutions.
• Ability to identify and fix problems and recommend improvements.
• Ability to work with stakeholders.
