Manager - Software Development

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of full-stack engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
• Drive the design, development, and maintenance of products and systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful solutions.
• Adhere to coding standards for clean, efficient, and maintainable code, improving performance.
• Stay current with industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
• Define objectives and OKRs, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Handle performance management, hiring, and onboarding.

Requirements:

• 9-12 years of experience in design & development and 2-3 years in team leadership.
• Hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and architecture.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB and Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
