Job Requirements

As a Lead Software Engineer SQA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products. This includes working closely with engineering leads, product managers, and developers to define, build, and enhance the overall test suite, test processes, and quality metrics. You'll drive feature/component verification/validation, crafting test scenarios, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Your role involves conducting peer test reviews, assessing defects, and continuously improving test coverage, including functional, data, and performance testing. You'll drive test automation initiatives, promoting efficient and high-quality product delivery. A strong focus on quality and systems engineering, coupled with a proactive attitude, is essential.

Work Experience

• Hands-on experience in verifying/validating data-intensive workflow applications involving health data analytics and complex data pipelines.
• Proficient in querying complex datasets using SQL queries.
• Ability to translate product requirements into effective test scenarios and drive necessary test coverage.
• A solid understanding of testing processes, project test lifecycles, validation techniques, and test status reporting.
• Experience with functional, data, and performance testing methodologies.
• Experience in test automation, including hands-on experience with frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG.
• Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, VBScript, Java, or Python, and exposure to version control systems like SVN, GIT, Rally, and CI tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills, including the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience in the healthcare and/or pharma life science industry, particularly with data analytics applications and big data pipelines.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
