Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer at Certinia in Bengaluru, India, you will be a leading member of our product development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our business applications on the Salesforce platform, acting as a mentor and coach, guiding Engineering teams, Product Managers, and UX Designers. You'll advise senior technical leadership on technology strategies and present to stakeholders. Your responsibilities include overseeing technical solutions, ensuring code quality, and contributing to the definition of work standards. You will lead the design of software solutions and ensure high quality of technical solutions and code of one or more significant software areas that make up the Certinia product set. This includes consideration for enterprise requirements such as performance, transactional data volumes, user concurrency, security and integration capabilities. Key tasks include designing and coding new features, fixing issues, and conducting code reviews. You will work within our Agile-influenced software development lifecycle, focusing on clean code and release readiness. Key responsibilities also include leading software solution design, writing and reviewing code and tests, diagnosing and resolving customer issues, and providing team support.

To be successful, you will need:

• Demonstrable Salesforce platform experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and enterprise frameworks.
• Experience in solving complex software challenges.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, Apex etc.
