Jr Web Developer (Entry Level)

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our team. This entry-level position focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions for Federal Government organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Website design, development, testing, and management.
• Support of the hardware/software infrastructure for a web-based portal.
• Full-stack development (front-end, back-end, database).
• Resource management for timely deliveries.
• Collaboration with clients and review panels for technical solutions.
• Clear communication with team and client product managers.
• Promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Develop and maintain web-enabled capabilities and applications.
• Defining and tracking project requirements and schedules.
• Commitment to quality product delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles.
• Experience with web development.
• Experience communicating with end-users and gathering requirements.
• Experience analyzing business product needs.
• Experience analyzing core software development standards.
• Experience providing guidance and leadership to development teams.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• DHS Public Trust Clearance.
• Certifications in Lean Software Development, Kanban, Scrum, or other Agile processes.
• Department of Homeland Security (DHS) experience.
