MERN/MEAN Stack Developer

About the Job: BeaconFire, based in central NJ, specializes in software and web development, and business intelligence. We are seeking passionate developers to combine technology and design for user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop websites using HTML, CSS, Node.js, React.js, and Angular2+.
• Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests.
• Work with testers to resolve defects.
• Support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Stay updated with technological advancements.
• Discover and fix programming bugs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience in JavaScript or similar programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of code versioning (Git, SVN).
• Passion for coding pixel-perfect web pages.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science.
• 0-1 year of practical JavaScript coding experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Angular2+, React.js, Express.js).
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Experience providing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Compensation: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
